Dr. John Lenhart, a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, wrote a book called
Dance To Live after observing healthy elderly ballroom and swing dancers. He noticed that these dancers acted much younger than their chronological years, being both mentally sharp and engaged in life. Dancing becomes a source of enjoyment, pleasure, exercise, fulfillment, mental growth, stimulation, social interaction and all-out fun.
