A YouTube-style site specifically designed for dancers is up and running! DanceJam (
www.dancejam.com) is a video-based social website that contains videos of dance performances and instructional tutorials; it is the place to be for anyone who likes to move! Members can create profiles, post photos and videos, leave comments, etc.
Other features include:
- Slow-motion buttons on each video so that dancers can watch routines frame by frame to help them learn.
- Battles pitting two DanceJam members with similar styles against each other (site visitors vote for the best).
- A dance encyclopedia.

One of the most exciting "features" not mentioned above are the contests that DanceJam hosts. They've done two "casting calls" in the past month and promise to do more. Pretty exciting for people who take dance pretty seriously.

Im still learning to dance so I havent uploaded vidoes yet, buy the dance lessons are giving me some more material to work with.
