Congratulations to Upper Montclair resident Deborah “Gina” Gianelli. Gina traveled to Jacksonville to compete in the United States pro-am Theatrical Championships in October of 2006, where she placed 3rd in the country. Gina dances Theatrical Ballroom with her professional partner, Kostadin Bidjourov.
Theatrical ballroom is characterized by 50% floor dancing and 50% aerial dancing, lifts and tricks. Gina takes lessons with Kostadin, who himself is a 5 Time U.S. National Professional Theatrical Champion, at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Upper Montclair.
